Good Morning!  My doctor has not cleared me to come back to school until after Thanksgiving.  :(  But I didn't hear him mention anything about popping in for a quick visit;  maybe I wasn't listening.  :)

I will be in to see you all either Monday or Tuesday.  I want to see you before the holiday and also to hear you read The Outsiders.  Mrs. Cobb will be your substitute and again my expectations are the same.  I spoke with her on Friday and oh my...some of us have found new seats next to our friends.  :)  Yikes!

All in all, I have heard favorable comments and I do appreciate that so much!

See you soon....<3

Dear Students,

I needed to let you know what happened last week after I returned from Dance Competition on Monday, November 11th.  Dancing with the Stars phoned as they saw me perform and asked if I would like to compete for their show….NOT!!!!  I WISH, but NOT!

I wasn’t feeling great on Tuesday and I attributed that to a long week-end, but as it turned out I had to go to the hospital for surgery – my gallbladder was removed. So that means, I have to put my dancing shoes away for a while and my teaching shoes.  L

I will be out this coming week:  November 18th – 22nd per the doctor’s orders.  I plan to be back on November 25th.  I believe Mrs. Cobb will be your substitute teacher for the entire week.  I am not comfortable assigning homework when I’m not there, so NO HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEK.  That makes me feel better already.  (I felt terrible not be able to communicate with you!!!!)

My expectations are still the same:

1.       Be helpful to the sub.
2.       Be kind. (I don’t want a negative report left on my desk.)
3.       Do the classwork that is assigned.

I will be checking emails and Edmodo.  If you have any questions, we can communicate via those venues.  With or without a gallbladder, I do need to let you know that I would choose “Teaching” over “Dancing with the Stars” any day!!!!  J  See you soon!

Love, Mrs. Ward
